In my work I am very much inspired by nature, and am lucky enough to live around several beautiful areas of countryside, where I walk everyday. While on these walks, I usually come across something that I want to draw. I have, for example, found lots of beauty in lichen on old, fallen logs recently - the colours are so eye catching and I love trying to depict the textures - and I am currently working on a drawing called Temporary Treasures, which will capture some of the little natural treasures I've found on my walks. I love nature and consider myself a sustainable artist.
